Wanted grossed about Rs.20 crore in the opening weekend itself very good opening. Film lovers thronged the theatres following the good word of mouth. His fans think that it's even better than Aamir's Ghajini.

It is said that Aamir has been intrigued by the claims in the trade circle that Wanted earned more than Ghajini.
