Rajkumar Santoshi has finally denied reports of him approaching Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan and Aamir Khan for ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ sequel. In an exclusive chat with Indiatimes Movies,

Santoshi revealed, “I am not really making a sequel of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. That film had its share of success. I am making a film on the lines of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ though which is called ‘Adah Apni Apni’. This film too will have four lead characters out of which two are Ranbir and Katrina.”

He further clarified, “Aamir and Salman won’t suit the roles I have in mind so they won’t be a part of this film.”

His movies might not have done well in the recent past but that hasn't dented his popularity in the industry. When Salman Khan walked down the ramp as part of the Will Lifestyle India Fashion Week it was a site worth seeing. Each time Salman appeared on the ramp the crowned just went wild to catch a glimpse of Bollywood's most eligible bachelor.

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan walked the ramp with former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen earing a plain black shirt with a prominent belt. Salman walked the ramp for renowned designer Sanjana Jon. Salman's brother Sohail Khan also walked the ramp with him. This brought tears in Sanjana's eyes as her brother Anand Jon the famous Paris based Indian designer who is serving a prison sentence there.

Apparently, Salman Khan is unhappy with his latest release Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, which has diluted the effect of his last hit, Wanted. The film directed by first-timer Prem Soni had a lukewarm opening at the box office and has been trashed by critics.

Says an insider, "Last Friday, when Main Aurr Mrs Khanna released and opened to only 10 per cent collections, an infuriated Salman called over his brother Sohail (the film's producer) and director Prem Soni to his home and asked them to explain the reason for the debacle.

The source continues, 'Salman told them that in the promotions, they'd projected him as the main lead, when he was actually in a supporting role and that said that his fans were feeling cheated.

Salman has always been very clear about the expectations of his fans and he was hurt that this time his home production had sent out the wrong message." Salman also added that the film hadn't shaped up like he'd been told. He told Prem too in no uncertain terms that he was very disappointed with his work.

"The meeting called for by Salman, soon escalated into a full-scale argument between him and Sohail. So much so, that their dad Salim Khan had to intervene to sort it out. Of course, by the weekend, the two brothers sorted out their issues but there's still a question mark for Prem's film.

Though Salman is very attached to his brothers and family, he feels he needs to do better films now and Sohail should have had more control over the script and editing."

The source adds that Salman also expressed concern over the next three films being made under his home banner - brother Arbaaz's Dabaang, Atul and Alvira Agnihotri's next which was being directed by Prem Soni and the sequel of Partner. He wanted to be sure that the scripts would turn outright.

Sohail Khan says, "There was no fight between Salman and me. Films are a part of our lives... there will be some ups and downs but most of them have been ups thank God." The rumour is that Salman is not doing Prem Soni's next produced by Atul Agnihotri. Sohail says, "It's still in the scripting stage, let Prem finish it. Then I think things will move forward but Prem's a sincere boy... and we will keep the association going."

When told that about Salman not wanting to work with him, Soni says, "I am not aware of this. I have not had any conversation on this with Salman at all after the film has released. As far as I know, he's not upset with me.

And he hasn't told me that he's not working in my next film. Salman is one of the nicest human beings I know and not the kind to behave like this. He's very upfront and straightforward and would have told me if he wasn't."

Salman Khan will be teaming up with little brother Sohail again, now in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Satte Pe Satta.

Sohail Khan has been planning on remaking the memorable 1982 Raj Sippy comedy Satte Pe Satta for quite a while and is in talks of buying the rights of the film. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini, it also starred Ranjeeta Kaur, Sachin, Shakti Kapoor, Paintal, Sarika, Kanwaljit Singh, Prema Narayan and Kalpana Iyer amongst others. The plot of the film was taken originally from the Hollywood film Seven Brides for Seven Brothers which was about a man and his waywardly brothers being civilized by their sister in law.

A source close to Sohail added, “Salman will play Big B’s role in the film and several other close actor-friends of the Khans will essay the role of the co-stars. He’ll be playing double roles and Sohail has asked David Dhawan to direct the film. Sohail however isn’t going to be acting in the film and is going to stick only as producer.

Sohail has his hopes high with the film, he’s wanted to remake Satte Pe Satta for quite a while and its one of his favourite comedies. He has full trust in Salman to pull off the memorable Big B’s role in the film and this will be something to watch out for indeed.” The reticent Sohail ecstatically added to the press, ‘Yes, I am in talks with Mr Raj and Romu Sippy and we are working on acquiring the rights of Satte Pe Satta. We have talked and also met regarding that.’

David Dhawan refused to comment on the issue stating its too soon to talk about the project, lets hope David pulls his socks up for the last thing we want is to be disturbed again! What say?
