There won't be any more apologies from Vivek Oberoi to Salman Khan. The actor says he's done saying sorry to Sallu. Not just that but Oberoi also claims that should he fight, he will hold his ground against Khan.

Recently, Vivek was a guest On The Couch With Koel. Apart from talking about his work and a new outlook towards life, he also made remarks on Salman and claimed it was wrong to assume that in a scenario of a fistfight, the brawny man would win!

A source reveals that Vivek was extremely jovial on the show. "He seemed to have left his old personality behind and has taken on a positive outlook towards life. He laughed off most of his controversies but when the conversation veered towards Salman, he didn't mince any words."

Here are excerpts from the chat.

Koel: I watched your recent interview with Farah and in context to Salman you said, 'hum mard ki tarah ek dosare ko mar sakte hai, mere bhi do haath hai... and all this. If you actually got into a fisticuffs with him, who would win?
Vivek: Umm...I really don't know, I mean it kinda sounds like the expected answer would be obviously the brawn man. But umm... it doesn't really work that way. I mean, I've had my share of fights and I think I can hold my own. I don't think it's about a size of a bicep, it's the intent and speed of a fist hitting a vital point that determines a fight.

Koel (interrupting): Now don't say anything you are going to regret again.
Vivek: No no no... I think that's what determines a fight. I don't know if you've ever seen a street fight or if you've ever seen a brawl... it's not really about how big the guy is.

Koel: Please do invite me if you do decide to have this challenge. I want front row seats to this fight.
Vivek: You and half the world... No

Koel: Now, you've done your share of apologising but of course those apologies haven't really been accepted by Salman. He still... the only person that he talks badly about let's say... is you. Like he does say you are an idiot. I'm sorry to say this but he does say this, as you are aware of it.
Vivek: I mean well in the current context, I take that as a compliment, you know '3 Idiots', I would like be the fourth.

Koel: Nicely said.
Vivek: Raju Hirani, if you're watching...

Koel: So are you done with apologising?
Vivek: Ya I'm done.

Koel: So that phase of your life is over?
Vivek: Ya. I think I've squared all of that up, I've finished all the things I started. I've decided not to talk badly about anybody. If somebody else wants to continue talking badly about whoever else including me, then they can. I mean those are choices everybody makes.

Long after Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan told in an interview that he would let his girlfriend Katrina Kaif work with anybody except 'one idiot' Vivek Oberoi, Katrina has finally opened up. She is not going to work with him as told by her beau.

Yes you heard it right. Katrina understands Salman's sentiments and will not work with Vivek. She said what Vivek said and did to Salman was wrong. She added that somebody could still be her colleague if she thinks he has not done anything wrong but what Vivek did was genuinely wrong.

It maybe recalled that Salman and Vivek had a public fight over Aishwarya Rai (now Aishwarya Bachchan) a few years ago. Vivek was criticised for blasting Salman through the media. The duo has not patched up yet, and it looks like that will not happen any time soon!

Trouble started with an interview that Salman Khan gave a few days ago. Not known to speak too often about his past relationships Salman opened his heart out on this rare occasion. When quizzed about whether he physically abused Aishwaryaas was reported by the media Salman sarcastically said that when he hit someone he gave it his best shot and had he hit Aishwarya, the former Miss World would not have survived.

Vivek said Aishwarya was ungrateful as she had called him immature when had called the infamous press conference accusing Salman of threatening him. Vivek regretted having been in a relationship with Aishwarya and said that she had spoiled his life and ruined his career.

Once touted to be the next big thing in Bollywood, Vivek Oberoi has been pushed to the corner and is just a shadow of his potential. Perhaps the biggest mistake in his life was to fall in love with Aishwarya Bachchan and take on Salman Khan for her. The Company star who appeared on Tere Mere Beach Mein spoke to Farah Khan about the his affair with Aishwarya and face off with Salman.

When quizzed about the infamous press conference where he accused Salman of threatening him and the notorious episode of forty one missed calls an upset Vivek said Aishwarya called his act immature. He said he was very surprised with Aishwarya's reaction as he had done all this for her and did not expect her to call him immature even if she wasn't grateful to him.


Vivek also revealed how he paid dearly on the professional front for his enmity with Salman Khan. Producers were no longer willing to work with him and some even took back their signing amounts. Vivek however regrets most for loosing a friend in Sohail Khan. He said Sohail promised to resolve the issue between him and Salman but never ever spoke to him in his life.

Salman Khan had earlier bared his heart out to Farah Khan on her show Tere Mere Beach Mein. Now, Vivek Oberoi has revealed his side of the story on the same show themed Socha Na Tha. Interestingly, Salman and Vivek have one thing in common in Aishwarya Rai (Now Aishwarya Bachchan). However, they turned bitter enemies because of this one lady.

Vivek opened the Pandora's box years ago by calling a press conference against Salman when he was dating Aishwarya. His life took a dip since then. He revealed that 'Vivek bashing' became a trend. He also recalled how he found his mother crying when he returned home from shooting. She told him that she felt bad as a mother but at the same time felt proud that he had not got into bad habits.


Now that Aishwarya is happily married to Abhishek Bachchan, has he completely forgotten her? Vivek said that he is over with Aishwarya.

You must have read a lot about Salman Khan-Shahrukh Khan fights but the situation is not as bad as it looks. The truth is that Salman is fine with Shahrukh. However, he is still not ready to forgive Vivek Oberoi.

Salman Khan went to the extent of calling Vivek an idiot. He said that that he is fine with Katrina working with all actors including Shahrukh and John Abraham except Vivek. He added that he has told her to avoid that idiot.


The worst is that Salman is not ready patch up with him. It maybe recalled that Vivek levelled allegation against Salman through thepress while he was seeing Aishwarya Rai (Now Aishwarya Bachchan).

Vivek Oberoi has done everything to bury the hatchet with Salman Khan. He had held his ears during the Rajiv Gandhi Awards in full media glare but that was not enough for Salman to pardon him. Vivek who seems desperate to mend his relationship with Salman has given it another shot. In a recent interaction with the media Vivek said that he has forgotten the episode with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Bachchan.

The Company star had accused Salman of threatening him because of his affair with Aishwarya Bachchan who has once dated Salman Khan. Aishwarya as we know dumped even Vivek and married Abhishek Bachchan. Vivek however had to pay the price with his career being hit because of his enmity with Salman. None of Salman's friends in the industry worked with him and once the most promisingactor in Bollywood was reduced to a second grade star.

Vivek said he had committed some mistakes in his past and he was willing to accept it and asked for forgiveness from Salman. He also said that he would not mind appearing on Salman's 10 Ka Dum to promote his movies. Praising Salman's family he dismissed rumours that Salman's brother Sohail had referred to him as a waiter at a recent party. Well Salman you are known to have a golden heart, it's high time you forgive this kid.

Salman has always been vocal about his displeasure for Vivek in his interviews even till now. Vivek on the other hand has been trying in vain to seek forgiveness from him but to no avail.
