Though the 2 Superstars of Bollywood Shahrukh and Salman Khan prefer to stay as different as chalk & cheese from each other, but they certainly have an 'inner' connection.

Wondering how? Well the 2 stars recently became the brand ambassadors of respective innerwear company. While Dixcy Scott announced Style Bhai Salman Khan as its newest brand ambassador, then Shahrukh became the brand ambassador of Lux innerwear.

Earlier actor Sunny Deol used to endorse Lux innerwear, but now Shahrukh has been roped in to replace Sunny as the brand ambassador. And this is the first time ever Shahrukh will be seen endorsing an innerwear brand.

After what happened between Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan and Shahrukh at Katrina Kaif’s birthday bash no one ever thought that they will make up and be on cordial terms ever, but seems like things are on a mend now.

Apparently, Shahrukh is currently in the midst of a controversy over his comments on inclusion of Pakistani players in the IPL (Indian Premier League) cricket matches.

Apparently, Shahrukh refused to retract his statements and that has further irked Shiv Sena. There is high probability that they might create trouble during the screening of his movie ‘My Name is Khan’.

Subsequently, congress party favored Shahrukh Khan and assured him of a peaceful release of the movie, but now even Bollywood is coming out in favor of Shahrukh Khan.

And the man leading the support cause is none other than Superstar Salman Khan who openly cited that Shahrukh Khan had not done any crime by stating so and being an owner of one the IPL teams he had the rights to comment.

Moreover, Salman added that he feels Shahrukh doesn’t owe an apology to Shiv Sena.

Earlier, Shahrukh had said that Salman is a great actor and now Salman Khan is openly supporting Shahrukh Khan during such crises.

This clearly indicates that both actors are in a mood to salvage the bitterness of past. So, can their fans now see them together on screen?

Where Salman is a stated as master in painting and a complete professional, reportedly had presented Ranbir Kapoor with a painting of his legendary grandfather Raj Kapoor when he had come to his 'Dus Ka Dum' show last year.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh wants to be quick master in painting and he wants to start off with M. F. Hussain. Reportedly had painted a canvas in a tribute to the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

"For me painting is like a hobby and it feels good when you do something like this to help people or spread a message. I am a silent philanthropist and I will continue to be so," says Shah Rukh.

For Salman it's 'not a hobby but a passion'. "I have always painted when my heart has told me to. Since I know a particular art which is over and above acting, I should dedicate it to charity to help people who are less fortunate than us," he says.

Salman adds, "Through Being Human I have interacted with a lot of needy people. I have been moved by those interactions. Though I earn crores through my movies, my paintings and Being Human initiatives make me most happy. We all have social responsibilities and I'm only trying to do my part."

After a royal wedding in Khandala, Shilpa Shetty oops! Shilpa Kundra and hubby Raj Kundra will be holding a grand reception in Mumbai. It will be a star studded night at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai where all the big names of Bollywood will come to wish the couple. Shilpa and Raj have not left any stone unturned to make this reception grand in what has so far been called 'wedding of the season.'

The guest list includes Amitabh Bachchan and family, SRK and family, the Kapoors, Rekha, Farah Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar, the Deols, Sushmita Sen, Salman Khan and the liquor baron Vijay Malya. Shilpa has invited Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Warne and popstar Jermaine Jackson for her grand reception.

On Saturday, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan flew back on the same flight from London to Mumbai. SRK was in UK for the last couple of days on some work and Salman had gone there to promote his latest film, London Dreams. While Salman was with his younger brother Sohail, SRK was by himself. When the Khan brothers walked in, Sohail (who, along with wife Seema, is on good terms with SRK and Gauri) went up to Shahrukh, they chatted for sometime after which he went and joined his brother.

This was the third in the series of the jab-they-met encounters. The first time they were at the same place at the same time post their infamous feud was last year at Amrita Arora's sangeet ceremony. The second was this year at Ramesh Taurani's wedding anniversary bash. Other than that, the two actors have been going to great lengths to avoid bumping into each other. So what happened when they came face-to-face with each other? Says an eyewitness, "Both Shahrukh and Salman boarded the flight without the slightest knowledge that both were going to share nine hours of airspace together! Shahrukh saw Sallu first. He appeared stunned, then he quietly went to his seat and sat down."

Both were seated a few seats away from each other but Salman was talking loudly and making sure that his dushman could overhear everything he was saying. Sallu was apparently in great spirits and kept behaving like a naughty child, reveals the source, "He kept pulling the airhostess's legs and behaving as if he was ready to go and brawl it out with the other Khan."

After some reading, SRK went off to sleep. He didn't wake up for his meal. He woke up only when it was time to land. Throughout the flight, it was obvious Shahrukh had decided to completely ignore Salman while he was itching for a fight. When Sallu saw SRK wasn't reacting to his verbal salvos, he too went off to sleep."

While deplaning, Sohail and SRK bid goodbye to each other. Salman and Shahrukh (who had walked ahead) again didn't even look at each other. At the luggage unloading section, the two actors stood at two corners, picked up their respective luggage and strode off in two opposite directions — as if they couldn't wait to get away from each other. Though the airline sources confirmed that both Salman and Shahrukh were on the same flight on Saturday they were tight-lipped about divulging further details on grounds of client confidentiality. Shahrukh and Salman remained unavailable for comment.

Subhash Ghai's wedding anniversary date (October 24) coincides with the date he launched his production company Mukta Arts (it turns 31 this year). The showman's annual bash was a star-studded one this year minus Salman Khan. Shahrukh Khan, Rishi and Randhir Kapoor, Riya Sen, Karan Johar, Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan, Rohit Roy, Chunky Pandey and Salman's good friend Katrina Kaif were seen attending the party. Last year, Salman attended Ghai's wedding anniversary while Shah Rukh had stayed away.

Commenting on the absence of Salman Ghai says, "Though I had invited Salman, he couldn't attend because he was attending his uncle's (Salim Khan's brother) 50th birthday in Indore. Salman has always been very nice and respectful with me. He did Yuvvraaj with me at a time when my last film Kisna had flopped. In this industry, you are what you are according to your last film. I don't approach stars for their work but those who have worked with me like Jackie, Shahrukh, Madhuri, Meenakshi, Hrithik, Sanjay Dutt and Salman all become part of my family and they all treat me with love and affection. Though Priyanka and Aishwarya (flights got delayed) couldn't attend, Ash's mom Vrinda came and Priyanka sent me a sweet text saying she was out of town. I was surprised to get a huge bouquet from Madhuri (who's in the USA) while she personally called to wish me and my wife."

Commenting on his warm association with Shahrukh, Ghai says, "I had first met him when he had signed Dil Aashna Hai and had come to a party. Ramesh Sippy introduced us and as we shook hands, I could see the warmth in this boy. I told Ramesh that he was going to be a superstar and hehad the right style and attitude for it even as a newcomer. Then I signed him for Trimurti. I was s upposed to do Motherland with Shahrukh but the film got delayed because of his back problem and I went ahead with Kisna but the love I have for him will never change. He will always remain a family member and I hope to work with him sometime again soon."

Friends turning foes and vis versa is not uncommon in Bollywood. The relationship between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan turned sour after the clash at Katrina Kaif's birthday last year. However, they would become friends again, as Salman's comment that Shahrukh is the best, would pave the way for a patch up.

Salman surprised everyone on his television show 10 Ka Dum by heaping praises on his arch rival Shahrukh. He said that Shahrukh is the best when it comes to romantic scenes. He added that the intensity in his eyes is really romantic and could make anybody go crazy . As if that is not enough, he went on to say that Shahrukh is great professionally.

Elaborating more on the information, our source adds, “There will be 84 episodes of Bigg Boss 3 and according to that ratio, Mr. Bachchan has become the highest paid host on television. Akshay Kumar and SRK were paid 1 crore per episode for their shows Khatron Ke Khiladi and Paanchvi Pass respectively.”

Salman’s price was hiked up for the second season of Dus Ka Dum. “For the first season of DKD, he received an amount of Rs. 80, 00,000 while in the second season his price was raised to 1 1/2 crore,” quips our khabroo.

Wanted could only manage a laugh when he was referred to by his arch rival's name. The incident happened when Salman visited the Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai to spend time with children suffering from cancer.

A junior doctor who was addressing the event mistook Salman for Shahrukh and said "May I please request Dr SD to give Shahrukh a bouquet.” The entire gathering lay stunned at this with the senior management at the hospital feeling embarrassed. Salman laughed off the incident and said that he was happy that the doctor was concerned with his work and nothing else in life.

Bollywood actors Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan have said that once and again that the relationship between them is not as bad as it is made out to be but gossip about their rivalry has not died down. As fate has it, they are going to end up walking the same route.

The grapevine is abuzz with the news that Katrina Kaif is romancing Shahrukh Khan in a new film to be directed by the ever elusive Aditya Chopra. Katrina is miffed at the news, not because Shahrukh is her boyfriend Salman Khan's enemy but because there is no truth in it.

Katrina said that she might be doing films under Aditya Chopra's production house Yash Raj Films but the news of Aditya directing them is just another rumour. She is close to Shahrukh in spite of the fight between Salman and him on her last birthday.

Choreographer turned director Farah Khan is getting into television. She is going to host the chat show called Tere Mere Beach Mein. As if that's not enough, she now wants to turn a mediator. Yes, she wants to make Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan friends again.

Farah Khan feels that the fight between Salman and Shahrukh has been dragged for too long. She said that she wants to bridge the gap between them, as she loves both of them.

Interestingly, she is bringing both the actors to her show Tere Mere Beach Mein but they won't meet each other. Salman along with his mother Salma will be Farah's first celebrity guests. On the other hand, Shahrukh will appear in the final episode.

Farah said that they decided to make Salman as the first guest, as he had not been to any chat show. She added that they decided to feature Shahrukh at the end of the show to keep the audience hooked till the end.

Well, it maybe recalled that Salman and Shahrukh have been not in talking terms for quite sometime now. Their relationship worsened after getting into a public fight at Katrina Kaif's birthday last year.

"You work with people you don't know. I don't know Shahrukh so I don't mind working with anybody," says Salman Khan on the prospect of working in a film with friend-turned-foe Shahrukh Khan. "If there's something good, I wouldn't have a problem that's if he doesn't have a problem. As long as those 100 days go off peacefully and don't have any problems," Salman adds. He rates Karan Arjun as one of his favourite films (where he created magic with Shahrukh Khan).

Salman is known for his big heart and helping nature. In a cut throat industry, he is quite a rarity. "I don't have any insecurity or jealousies that ye bada star banega and he is going to take over and we are going to be thrown out. I don't care about that stuff at all. Woh apni mehnat par hai, apne fans ke upar depend karta hai, how long you're going to be there. Fans are saying jab tak you want us to see you, we will see you," Salman says with a smile.

While matching steps with Karisma and Kareena on his show, and after performing on one of Shahid’s famous numbers, he grinned, “Don’t you think I dance better than Shahid?”

Probably it is with people like Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff that he gels more. They are of his kind, absolutely unpretentious – another quality that he likes in people. And hence there was a lot of firework when these two seniors of his appeared on ‘Dus Ka Dum’ recently.

“The younger generation should learn from these ‘cool’ guys who are not pretentious. They are frank and openly talk about the mistakes they made in the past. They don't fake when they say, ‘this was our life – this is what we used to do - drugs, alcohol, women, today we have left all that and learnt from our mistakes and experiences. “I have a lot of respect for these guys,” said Salman.

Here is an interesting news bite. When Salman Khan was busy taking a dig at Shahrukh Khan over his detention in the US, his Girlfriend Katrina Kaif took extra effort to get close to Shahrukh.

Everybody knows that all is not well between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan but choreographer turned director turned chat show host Farah Khan has the guts to invite them to her chat show Tere Mere Beech Mein. Of course, the actors will not appear together.

Interestingly, Farah will start Tere Mere Beech Mein series with Salman Khan along with his mother Salma Khan and end it with Shahrukh.

Salman has not appeared on any television chat show till date and so too is his mother. In fact, Salma has not given any interview so far. But Farah said that it was not at all difficult to convince the mother and son to kick start her show. She makes Salman speak about being a 'mamma's boy' and Shahrukh as a henpecked husband.

Farah is also roping in celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Asin Thottumkal, Deepika Padukone, Abhay Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kareena Kapoor and cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Irrfan Pathan to her chat show. However, she has failed to bring former railway minister Lalu Prasad and singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya.
